Free Mockups is a curated directory. We do not design, own, sell or host the mockups listed here. Each mockup is the work and property of the designer or studio that created it, and all rights stay with them.
Where to find the license
Each listing links to the creator’s original page through its download button. That page is where you download the file and where the creator states the license. Licenses differ from one creator to the next and can change over time, so always read the terms on the creator’s page before you use a file. If what we describe on a listing differs from the creator’s page, the creator’s terms apply.
Your responsibility as a user
- Follow the license set by the creator, including any limits on commercial use, client work, products for sale or redistribution.
- Give credit when the creator asks for it, in the form they request.
- Do not re-upload, resell or share the original files as your own, unless the creator’s license allows it.
- When the license is unclear, contact the creator before using the file.
Common license types you may see
- Free for personal and commercial use: you can usually use the mockup in your own and client projects, but you still cannot redistribute the file itself.
- Personal use only: fine for practice and portfolios, not for paid work.
- Attribution required: you may use it if you credit the creator as they ask.
- Creative Commons licenses: the exact license name (for example CC BY) tells you what is allowed.
These summaries are general guidance, not legal advice, and they never replace the creator’s own terms.
How we credit creators
Listings name the creator where they can be identified and link to the creator’s own page, so visits and downloads go to the person who made the work. Preview images are shown to help you choose and remain the property of the creator.
